Valley Spur Trail System Cross Country Ski Report – 02/07
2/7 and JC already has the trails groomed. Another great cross country ski weekend in store.
Last night Rhonda and I had 1/2 hour to get 15 kids on skis. Only 2 had skied before. This group was the After School Program for Sault Tribe. We had inspiration from John Gierke. John was suppose to help us with this group. The kids skied from A to the B turn and then went down the beginning of B trail and learned to Herringbone back up. So many smiles. The kids also snowshoed The Bunny Trail. John Gierke will always be on the trail and in the lodge with us. Thanks JG we will do our best to keep giving the gift of cross country skiing. Peggy

The Family of Volunteers at VS are doing a lot of reflecting on his Life Well Lived. The lodge is open from 10 am to 4 pm. #valleyspur #SkiMichigan
