FROM Pine River Paddlesports Center >> There are so many fun things to do outside in the snow in Michigan❄ One of our favorites is cross country skiing! Did you know that there is a fantastic cross country ski trail right around the corner from us? MacKenzie Cross Country Ski Trail is located by our local ski resort, Caberfae Peaks. It is quite an extensive trail system of 25 miles, ranging from 'easy' to 'difficult', and the trails are groomed by volunteers. It is our favorite place to go cross country skiing when we have the chance - it's beautiful and close by! We were able to enjoy about an hour there a couple of weeks ago when I took these pictures - there was fresh snow and we had a great time❄ Don't have skis? No problem! Caberfae Peaks rents them so you can give it a try if you've never done it before. Happy skiing! #caberfaepeaks #crosscountry #snowphotos #SkiMichigan
