XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 01/20

Love to see that sun peeking through the tall trees on the Rolling Hills Trail.

We received another heavy dusting of snow throughout the day yesterday and over night. Ginzu Dana snowcombed all of the trails last night, and the trails continue to be in excellent shape, with deep molded tracks and wide, smooth skating lanes. We have a base of 9 to 12 inches and 15 to 17 inches of snow in the woods. All 8 trails are in prime condition for these next few days of nice mild ski weather!

Forecast:

Today: Mainly cloudy with snow showers around this morning. High near 20F. Winds light and variable. Chance of snow 50%.

Tonight: Partly cloudy skies. Low 8F. Winds light and variable.

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy skies during the morning hours will become overcast in the afternoon. High 27F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.

Today’s lunch special is the Ryan Wrap! Double cheese, pesto, bell peppers, spinach, tomato, red onion, hummus and chipotle mayo on a giant wrap, grilled to melty, crispy perfection and served with chips and a pickle! We also have some delicious, fresh baked chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin cookies which every skier should try at least once!
