XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 01/12
This very athletic 3 year old was a natural for her 1st time on skis yesterday!
As of 6:45am this morning we have received 2 to 3 inches of fresh snow and it is still snowing! We are forecast to get 1 to 3 inches more throughout the day. This gives us 12 to 14 inches of snow in the woods and 6 to 9 inches packed on the trails.
Groomers Bob, Matt and Dana will be grooming throughout the day today. All 8 trails will have freshly snowcombed skating lanes and molded tracks set. Conditions are excellent!
Today’s lunch special is Bob’s Favorite Tuna Panini: albacore tuna, provolone, black olives, jalapenos, spinach, tomato and onion, grilled to perfection on Stone House 9 grain bread and served with Great Lakes Chips and a pickle; a delicious, hearty skiers lunch indeed!
The Winter Wonderland Sale is underway with great values on winter outerwear and XC skis, boots and XC ski packages.
With the snow on the tree branches it will be like skiing in a magical kingdom today!
