Boyne Mountain Snow Report – 01/12
The snow just continues to fall with no let-up in sight! After receiving 8″ of pure powder from Saturday night through Sunday, we were thrilled to see another 5″ had fallen Sunday night into Monday morning! In total, 14″ of pure pow has fallen over the last 48 hours. The next 30 hours are calling for 5-8″ more, with the potential for more (you never know when the lake effect snow machine is active)! Combined with the power of the Boyne Low-E fan guns which continue to blast the snow as much as possible, there’s no doubt we’re skiing and riding with the best conditions of the season to date!
Grab the gear, call in to work and join us on the slopes, where we’re offering over 230 skiable acres spread across 35 different runs and will be able to open more terrain this week! Lifts are spinning today from 9am-4:30pm, so come out and play in all the powder! For today’s prices, be sure to visit our lift ticket page.
Looking ahead: Our outstanding snowmaking and grooming teams are taking full advantage of this storm to get more terrain open for skiing and riding! We are planning on continuing our terrain expansion in the Disciples Ridge area, and are also focusing on Superbowl and the Tubing Park! Stay tuned and we will update as often as possible.
Eager to get some air? We got some of our initial shapes set up in the Ramshead Terrain Park last night and will continue to make snow until we install our features next week. We are aiming to officially open the park next weekend. We will be building our N. McLouth and Boyneland parks as soon as we are able.
Off the slopes: Don’t forget about Avalanche Bay Indoor Waterpark! With 88,000 square feet of wet and wild fun for all ages, the park stays at a toasty 84 degrees year-round! Schedule a Zipline Adventure Tour to see the resort from a whole different angle! We have tons of great ways to have fun here at Boyne Mountain Resort!
