Nub’s Nob Ski Area Snow Report – 01/05

We are open today from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with reduced rate lift tickets as we work to open more terrain. Nub’s is also open for night skiing every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. Night skiing on Friday and Saturday is 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. Check out our daily ticket rates page for updated pricing.

The best snowmaking weather of the season has arrived and our world class Snow Crew has been taking full advantage of it. Not only are we really laying it down on Pintail Peak, but we are adding base to many runs. We plan to have over half of Pintail Peak open this weekend!

Lifts: 4 chairlifts and the Race Arena rope tow.

Runs: At least 26 – Most of Nub’s Front and over half of Nub’s Nob South are open!

Snow Surface:	Machine Groomed. Conditions are excellent.
New Snow Overnight:	Trace	3 days: 1.5″	7 days: 12″	YTD: 26″
Number of Runs Open:	At least 26 – Most of Nub’s Front and over half of Nub’s Nob South are open!
Number of Lifts Open:	4 chairlifts and the Race Arena rope tow.
Glade Skiing Conditions:	Glades on Nub’s North and South are open. Conditions are marginal early season and snow depths vary. Expect bare spots and thin areas. As always, use caution in these non-snowmaking areas.
XC Trail System:	All trails are packed but not tracked in early season condition.
Banked Slalom Course:	Closed as snowmaking is in progress there.
Night Skiing:	Every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday from 4 to 9pm and Friday and Saturday from 6 to 10pm.
Terrain Parks:	Closed while we make snow in the park.
