Shanty Creek Resorts has received over 10″+ of new snow since Monday. 1-2″ of daily snow is forecasted through Sunday. With highs around 28 degrees today, conditions look great for continuing our snowmaking operations. We continue to make snow at every opportunity and are focusing our efforts on opening Good Knight, Chicken’s Choice and Purple Daze.

Today we have 11 runs open (The Face is now open!), serviced by the yellow, purple and Magic Carpet lifts. We will continue to open more terrain as weather and snowmaking permit. Stay tuned. As our open terrain is limited, we have adjusted holiday rates accordingly. Please see below for holiday week lift ticket and rental pricing updates.

Our base is approximately 30″, but please be aware: snow conditions remain soft with thin areas near the edges of the trails. Please ski and ride with care.

For more family fun, there are four lanes available at the Alpine Tubing Park at Summit Mtn. Tubing will be available daily throughout holiday week from 10a-10p.
