Nub’s Nob Ski Area Snow Report – 12/31

We are open today from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with reduced rate lift tickets as we work to open more terrain. Check out our daily ticket rates page for updated pricing. There is no night skiing tonight but please enjoy our free family friendly New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade tonight from the bottom of the Green lift at 6pm. Night skiing resumes tomorrow from 6 till 10pm.

Our award winning Nub’s Snow Crew had another busy night as temperatures fluctuated all night long. We went down around 5am as temp’s warmed up to 30º, but should be back on in the early evening tonight. We started making snow on Pintail Peak last night and hope to have a part of that area open by next weekend!

Lifts: 7 chairlifts and the Race Arena rope tow.

Runs: At least 30 – All of the front and almost all of Nub’s Nob South are open!

Base Depth:	Up to 30″
Snow Surface:	Powder and packed powder.
New Snow Overnight:	Trace	3 days: 9″	7 days: 9″	YTD: 22″
Number of Runs Open:	At least 30 – All of the front and almost all of Nub’s Nob South are open!
Number of Lifts Open:	7 chairlifts and the Race Arena rope tow.
Glade Skiing Conditions:	Glades on Nub’s North and South are open. Conditions are marginal early season and snow depths vary. Expect bare spots and thin areas. As always, use caution in these non-snowmaking areas.
XC Trail System:	The upper Red, Yellow and Blue are open and were packed but not tracked today and are in early season condition.
Banked Slalom Course:	Closed as snowmaking is in progress there.
Night Skiing:	Resumes Friday night from 6 to 10 p.m.
Terrain Parks:	Closed as we make snow in the park. A box is set on lower Sno Pro. The Park Crew are setting rails in the lower section of the park today which we plan to open on Friday.
