XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 03/12
We had sunny spring skiing yesterday. Skiing was good in the morning, but the warm temps made the sun deck the place to be later in the afternoon. As of 7am this morning the temperature was 24F. These lower temps will make enable Ginzu Dana to groom early and have the trails ready by 10am for great skating conditions. The classic conditions will be good when the tracks soften up at about 11 am today.
Photo: Yesterday Bob & Lynne took a tour on Higgins Lake. The ice is at least 2 feet thick, but there were some wet/slushy spots on the surface. Overall it was a fantastic tour!
