XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/27
Our snow and trail conditions remain excellent. The fresh snow we received earlier this week, the lack of wind and great grooming by Matt, Henry and Dana have made it just a pleasure to go X-C Skiing. These great conditions should continue through out this weekend. Groomer Matt will start Ginzu grooming all the trails early this morning. We have excellent classic and skating conditions on all trails with 10 to 18 inches of snow in the woods and 6 to 10 inches packed on the trails.
This is a photo of our trails sent by Bob Ampulski who with his better half Barb comes up from Cincinnati every year to X-C ski for a week. Bob says”We had a really good time. Even though we skied in sub zero weather the sun was out and there was no wind in the woods.
