XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/25
Greetings from Higgins Lake! The trails were absolutely great yesterday, with light snow fall throughout most of the day. At 6:30am this morning it was -2F, and in the past 24 hours we have received over three inches of new snow. Groomer Matt will snowcomb all the skate lanes and set new tracks. We will have excellent classic and skating conditions on all trails.
Forecast:
Today: A mix of clouds and sun. High 13F. Winds NW at 5 to 10 mph.
Tonight: Some clouds. Low -9F. Winds light and variable.
Thursday: Partly clouds skies in the morning will give way to cloudy skies during the afternoon. High 11F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy skies. Low -13F. Winds light and variable.
Friday: Partly cloudy. Highs in the upper teens and lows -3 to 1F.

Today’s lunch special is a Turkey Pesto Panini. Sliced, oven roasted turkey, spinach, fresh tomatoes, provolone and basil pesto served on Stone House bread. We will also have have a fine selection of additional paninis and of course famous chili served with a warm 9 grain roll.
