XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/17

It was a fine day to X-C ski yesterday and today looks to be just as good or better. Groomer Henry set new tracks on the Manitou and Adventure trails to successfully combat the invasion of the oak leaves! Ginzu Dana will start Ginzu grooming the skating lanes and resetting tracks where needed early this morning. Conditions are very good to excellent for skate and classic skiing on all the trails.

Today: Variably cloudy with snow showers. High 14F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 60%
Wednesday: Cloudy. Snow showers developing in the afternoon. High 9F. Winds NNW at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow 40%.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. High near 0F. Winds NW at 10 to 20 mph.

Ski Instructor Jim Bradley has headed back to North Carolina. He will return in December and continue to instruct. Safe travel jim!

Packed Snow Depth on Trails: 5 to 9

Ice, Glaze, Barespots: all trails have freshly groomed snow.
