Nub’s Nob Ski Area Snow Report – 02/16

It’s a heat wave! High temperatures today are forecast to be in the teen’s with light and variable winds.

Number of Runs Open: 100% – All 53 runs are open! Conditions are excellent.

Number of Lifts Open: 10 lifts are operating today which easily access the entire area.

Glade Skiing Conditions: Conditions range from wind scoured ridge tops to deeper pow in the valleys. You may have to hike down to the snow in most lines. As always, caution is advised in these natural snow areas.

XC Trail System: 100% open in excellent condition. All trails were powertilled and tracked Saturday.

Banked Slalom Course: Open.

Night Skiing: Every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4 till 9pm and Friday and Saturday from 6 to 10pm on 26 slopes. We are the only local area to close down between day and night skiing on the busy weekends to regroom most of the slopes giving you the best conditions possible.

Terrain Parks: All 3 parks are fully built out and groomed nightly. The Purple Beginner Park is open with 5 features and our Mainline and Railyard parks are in great shape with 18 jibs and 3 jumps.

Snowmaking: Not necessary as we are in great shape.
