XC Ski Headquarters Cross Country Ski Report – 02/06
Yesterday morning’s sunrise through the trees.
The trails have set up nicely over the past few days, both the tracks and the skate deck are in incredible shape. Most of the white pines are still caked in snow, and the smiling faces of happy skiers are in abundance!
Weather Forecast:
Today: Snow flurries in the morning, partly sunny later this afternoon, high of 29F.
Tomorrow: Mostly cloudy, E winds at 10mph, high of 20F.

Friday, February 8th: Live Music from Mariah Frye and The Great Gaggle @ 6PM
Join Mariah Frye and friends for an evening of music, connection, spontaneity and FUN! Experience a variety of artists and musicians performing some of their favorite songs while you enjoy dinner and drinks from 6-8.
Saturday, February 9th: Free Beginner Ski Lesson & TRIVIA
Learn how to cross country ski at our FREE beginner ski lesson! You will learn the basics of traditional (classic style) XC ski technique, plus hill climbing, descending, and turning. You will even learn how to get up when you fall down! Free lessons are limited to 25 people. Ski rentals are available at the rental desk on a first-come, first-served basis. Plus, join us for Trivia and Dinner at the Stone Turtle Cafe from 6pm to 8pm!
Saturday & Sunday, Feb 8th & 9th: Super Bowl Foodie Face-Off!
The Stone Turtle Cafe will prepare the culinary specialty that represents each city in the Super Bowl: BBQ from Kansas City, and Philly Cheese Steaks from Philadelphia. YOU decide the culinary winner!
Sunday, Feb 9th: Live Music with Wade Whittington
Kick back to some awesome Americana live music from Wade Whittington from 2:00-4:00pm! Ski the trails, then indulge in a hot toddy and a bite to eat from the Stone Turtle Cafe while you soak in the tunes.
