Valley Spur Trail System Cross Country Ski Report – 01/22
1/22 day two of working on the over hang on the trails.
Today the temp at 10:30 am was 3 degrees, may get to 14 degrees this afternoon. Snow predictions are 6 to 10 inches and snow is falling currently. With the tractor and crew busy cutting back branches not sure when we’ll have a new groom. Most trails still have classic tracks. The skate lanes have not been fixed yet from the work being done on the trails.
Weekend Temps will be much better for outdoor activities.
John will have the trails looking great this weekend. Lodge open until 4 pm today.

FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> 1/21 temp -16 or so this morning warming up today to maybe 1 degree. No clouds all sunshine for the day. The crew is out triming back trees on the trail so the Kubota Cab doesn't get beat up by them. No grooming going on. The lodge stove is fired up and keeping the lodge warm. #valleyspur #SkiMichigan
