The Highlands Snow Report – 01/22
Let’s Go Snow Lovers!
The snow keeps coming down, and it’s a Pure Michigan winter wonderland! The Highlands is ready for you with 100% open terrain. Put on an extra layer this week, grab your gear and see you out here! (p.s. don’t forget C6 is heated!)
Ski School is open daily, with morning, and a full-day kids camp, private and group lessons.
The Adventure Center is available for extra fun, with zipline, sno-go, and equestrian.
The Nordic Center is open for Classic XC Skiing, snowshoe, and fat tire biking, there is also a free sledding hill available.
Here is what you can expect today:
Lift Hours: 9 AM – 9:00 PM
Night Skiing is Wednesday through Saturday from 5 PM – 9 PM.
On Wednesday and Thursday nights enjoy discounted lift tickets ($25) and rentals ($15) during our Slopes after Sundown promotion.
Be sure to stop by the Brew Bar and Food Market for $5 beers and $5 pizza slices. Large pizzas will be 40% off.
Lifts: ALL lifts are open! This includes Camelot 6 (the fastest lift in Michigan & it is heated!), Heather Express, Challenger, Interconnect (brand new 3-person chairlift providing a faster ascent to North Peak), Amy’s, North Face, Renate’s Express, Magic Carpet
Trails: 55 trails are open. Take a look at the trail status below for the full line-up.
Terrain Parks: 2/3 of parks are open. The Funland Terrain Park will CLOSED all day today and tonight for a re-build. Thanks for your understanding while our Terrain Park Team freshens things up.
Dining: We offer a variety of dining and beverage options throughout the property. Explore our dining tab on the website, app, or weekly happenings for all the options available both on-hill and off-hill.
We truly believe winter moments at The Highlands are where traditions begin. Looking ahead there is a lot to look forward to with a winter market, races, and special events. You can check our full event schedule on our website for everything to look forward to.
A little extra bonus – all season passholders and Ikon receive up to 20% off lodging at the resort. If you are not a season passholder and lodge at our resort, you receive up to 20% off lift tickets.
