We are 100% OPEN with trails, terrain parks, and lifts! We continue to have the most terrain open in Michigan!
This weekend will go down in our winter record books as one of the best yet!
It’s time to bundle up, grab your gear, and make the most of this Pure Michigan Weekend. The slopes are calling, see you out here!
Ski School is open daily, with morning, and a full-day kids camp, private and group lessons.
The Adventure Center is available for extra fun, with zipline, sno-go, and equestrian.
The Nordic Center is open for Classic XC Skiing, snowshoe, and fat tire biking, there is also a free sledding hill available.
Here is what you can expect today:
Lift Hours: 9 AM – 9:00 PM
Night Skiing is on Friday and Saturday nights from 5 PM – 9 PM.
Events: Don’t miss Jenn + Juice this weekend! She is making a stop at The Highlands as part of her national ski DJ tour. She is spinning tunes on the Day Lodge deck on Saturday & Sunday from 12 – 3 PM.
Go Lions! Watch the Lions take on Washington at 8 PM at Zoo Bar and Slopeside on Saturday at 8 PM.
Lifts: ALL lifts are open! This includes Camelot 6 (the fastest lift in Michigan & it is heated!), Heather Express, Challenger, Interconnect (brand new 3-person chairlift providing a faster ascent to North Peak), Amy’s, North Face, Renate’s Express, Magic Carpet
Trails: 55 trails and 3 terrain parks are open. Take a look at the trail status below for the full line-up.
Dining: We offer a variety of dining and beverage options throughout the property. Explore our dining tab on the website, app, or weekly happenings for all the options available both on-hill and off-hill.
We truly believe winter moments at The Highlands are where traditions begin. Looking ahead there is a lot to look forward to with a winter market, races, and special events. You can check our full event schedule on our website for everything to look forward to.
A little extra bonus – all season passholders and Ikon receive up to 20% off lodging at the resort. If you are not a season passholder and lodge at our resort, you receive up to 20% off lift tickets.
