Good Morning Badgers,

Groomers Dave and Mike are currently rounding out a trip around the Vasa trail system, smoothing in a light dusting of new snow with fresh corduroy. We will need more snow before it is possible to set new classic tracks, as the low-density snow we’ve received doesn’t amount to much in terms of base when packed. It sure is gorgeous out there though! Nothing elevates the winter spirit than a snow-blanketed landscape, and the thought of a ski in one’s future…

FROM Vasa Trail Ski Conditions >> An inch of fluff over a thin base. Rock skis are still recommended for the occasional thin spots. Special K and the 25k from timber ridge to out past the rock parking area had reasonable coverage.
