HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM SHANTY CREEK RESORT!
Holiday hours continue today at Schuss Mountain, open from 9a-9p daily through Saturday.
The magic carpet, purple, pink yellow and blue chairlifts all spinning (blue chairlift will close at 6p) today.
Temperatures are finally cooling off enough to resume snowmaking as we start the new year! Our snowmakers are on standby to fire up the snowguns as soon as they are able and they’ll be focusing all their energy on the red pod to get it open as soon as possible.
Today, you can expect variable conditions on the slopes, with a base of 24-36”.
Our Alpine Tubing Park located in Summit Village also has four lanes available today from 10a-10p.
