Boyne Mountain Snow Report – 12/23
Ask and you shall receive. Mother Nature decided to drop a fresh 4 inches of snow to start the holiday week. Lets ride!
Snowmaking Superiority
The snow guns are blazing at Boyne Mountain! We’re rounding out a monster 100 hour snowmaking marathon. Thanks to our supercharged snowmaking system upgrades, we’re able to crank out premium snow at full throttle.
BREAKING NEWS: Dame Winter’s sending reinforcements! A fresh storm system is rolling in with a forecast of 2-4 inches of pure natural goodness by Tuesday. Talk about perfect timing. We always feel the need for high-speed lift action, take your pick and hold on to your poles (and garbage, no one likes a litter bug). Almost 200 acres is open and ready for the taking.
Night Moves
The slopes are more lit than a Christmas tree. Night skiing is in full swing for the holidays and runs daily through Saturday, January 4.
Terrain Outlook
We’re laser-focused on keeping our prime terrain open for riders. Mountain Express, Boyneland, and Disciples 8 are our holiday MVPs. Keep your eyes on the sky – if lake effect snow makes a Christmas appearance, Meadows and Alpine might just unwrap themselves as a holiday bonus.
Ski 9am-9pm with us from December 20-January 4, 2025. Snowmaking is firing on all cylinders, clocking over 120 hours this stretch.
Slope Hours
Hours: 9am-9pm daily through January 4.
First Tracks
On weekends and holidays starting December 24, the Mountain Express chairlift opens at 8:30am for all qualifying passholders – Gold, Silver, Bronze, and NoMi Boyne Michigan Passes. The holiday edition of First Tracks is daily December 24-January 5.
Off the Slopes
You know we’ve upped our aprés game for the holidays. Warm your mitts by The Back Forty bonfire, reserve an igloo for dinner, and walk across the longest timber-towered suspension bridge for dessert. SkyBridge Michigan is decked out with over 200,000 twinkling lights, turning the bridge into a glittering holiday masterpiece. We’ve got heated outdoor pools and a huge indoor waterpark, throw in a service at The Spa, and we’re pretty certain the only thing else you’ll need is MORE time to do it all!
