The purple, blue and magic carpet lifts will be spinning at Schuss Mountain today from 9am-4:30pm.
Please note, the yellow chairlift is not open today, however the runs on the yellow chairlift will be available for skiing/snowboarding. Skiers/boarders will need to skate to the blue chairlift for access back to the top of Schuss Mountain.
When will the other lifts open, you ask?
The yellow chairlift will be up and rolling on Saturday, as we’re anticipating completing it’s repair late today. (A huge kudos to our snowsports team member who made the trek to West Virginia to pick up the necessary parts for repair earlier this week—we wouldn’t be spinning the yellow this weekend without his help!)
Snowmaking resumed on Wednesday as temperatures dropped significantly, so our mountain ops team has been working their magic on the pink pod, and parts of the red pod.
We are aiming to have the pink pod ready by Christmas Day. Stay tuned for updates on the pink and red lift openings.
Our Alpine Tubing Park is slated to open for the season tomorrow, Saturday, December 21, which will be our earliest opening EVER!
