A few inches of new snow fell yesterday, ushering in the reopening of Schuss Mountain today! The purple and magic carpet lifts will be spinning at Schuss Mountain from 9am-4:30pm.

Another feature has been added to the Monster Terrain Park overnight while it was refreshed, so be sure to check out it’s new set up today!

When will the other lifts open, you ask?
The blue chairlift will be opening on Friday (along with Ivan’s and the Schuss Day Lodge).

The yellow chairlift will be up and rolling on Saturday, as we’re anticipating completing it’s repair late Friday. (A huge kudos to our snowsports team member who made the trek to West Virginia to pick up the necessary parts for repair earlier this week—we wouldn’t be spinning the yellow this weekend without his help!)

Snowmaking resumed yesterday as temperatures dropped, so our mountain ops team has been working their magic on the pink pod, and will soon be turning their attention to the red chairlift.
We are aiming to have the pink pod ready for on Christmas Day. Stay tuned for updates on the pink and red lift openings.

Our Alpine Tubing Park is slated to open for the season on this Saturday, December 21, which will be our earliest opening EVER!
