The Highlands Snow Report – 12/14

WE ARE OPEN FOR THE SEASON – Join us starting at 9:00 AM today!

It is a winter wonderland here in up north Michigan. It keeps snowing, and our snowmakers are making excellent progress on our other runs as we continue to expand the terrain. Today, Little John will open, and we have 23 runs to explore! With all the natural snow, Sound of Skiing and South Fork are also open; these will be all-natural and not groomed.

Thanks to Mother Nature – Our Nordic Center is also open.

Here is what you can expect this weekend:

Lifts: Camelot 6, Heather, Challenger, Renate’s Express, Magic Carpet

Trails: Ridge Run, Valley View, Rattlesnake, Upper Camelot, North Camelot, Boardwalk, Olympic, K2, Heather, Upper Macgully, North Challenger, South Challenger, Maple Hollow, Everetts Escape, Little John, Sound of Skiing, and South Fork. A small terrain park on Heather will also be open.

Music: Saturday: DJ T-Bone on the Day Lodge Deck from 12 PM – 3 PM

Events: Bourbon Fanatic on Saturday for lodging guests

Early-season discounted lift tickets are available online. Lodging guests receive up to 20% off lift tickets.
All lodging, season passholders, and Ikon receive up to 20% off lodging at the resort.
