Schuss Mountain will be opening for the season this Saturday, December 7!

The lake effect machine continues at Schuss, and news of another front moving in Wednesday has the potential of dropping up to 10" of new snow. This front will bring lows in the teens with it, which is ideal for snowmaking. We can’t say enough about our hardworking snowmaking crew, who has really kicked things into gear this week, setting up an amazing base for this weekend’s opening.

Schuss Mountain will be open December 7-8, from 9am to 4:30pm with the the purple chairlift and magic carpet spinning. Once we’re able to assess just how much snow is on the hill between snowmaking and natural snowfall, we’ll announce what runs will be open for the weekend (most likely Thursday).

Early season lift ticket rates will be applicable this Saturday and Sunday, $41 for ages 9-69.
