Valley Spur Trail System Cross Country Ski Report – 02/24
2/25. Lots of sun and skiing going on today. Just got word from. John Cromell the Blue Jeap caught on fire this morning on H trail. The exhaust burned through some carpeting in the Jeep. John was able to put out the fire and get the Jeep back to the storage shed. Another adventure in grooming with brike, busted and can’t be trusted equipment.

Groomed up y w x and v worked on b while on h. Jeep caught fire exhaust leak shot up through rust hole in floor caught carpet and wiring that goes to rear hydraulics on fire. got fire out will work on exhaust and patch holes on Monday. the system is in good shape lots of snow use caution on hill very fast.

FROM Friends of Valley Spur >> 12/17 no new grooming today. The Temps are hovering around freezing. John is hoping to groom the trails early Wednesday when our Temps drop. The lodge is open from 10 am to 4 pm. #valleyspur #SkiMichigan
Wednesday through the weekend look great for grooming with new snow coming and colder temps.
