Forbush Corner Cross Country Ski Report – 02/02
February 2nd, we are open today 9-5. There will be limited grooming today-man made loop, ridge, maybe roller coaster. All trails were skiable yesterday with a good classic track.
The colder temperatures last night will have firmed the trails. We will be able to provide one more good groom on all the trails before the sun starts melting out vulnerable sections of trail on Saturday. Therefore we are choosing to groom most of the trails on Saturday morning. We still have a good base on the majority of the system, but expect spring-like conditions with older transformed snow with variable conditions of mostly great conditions with some low snow, dirty areas mixed in.
We will not be grooming badlands until Sunday to preserve the base for our Marv Stevenson memorial classic race that will be held Sunday morning.
