Forbush Corner Cross Country Ski Report – 01/27
The rain we received was light, but It’s still too warm to groom the natural snow trails.
We will try to groom the 240 loop and Linda’s link this morning and see how it goes. The base on the whole system remains in good condition with some light snow still remaining on top of it. The trails should groom up nicely once the temperatures drop, possibly on Sunday and Monday.
The skiing on the 2km man made loop has been surprisingly good for both classic and skate.

FROM Forbush Corner Cross-Country Skiing >> Fresh groom on the east side trails today. Pines connector and pines loop was groomed yesterday, thin here and there but mostly good coverage if you are looking for a longer ski out to Hartwick Pines. Open 9 to 5. #forbush #SkiMichigan
FROM Forbush Corner Cross-Country Skiing >> Race day! The second race in the Michigan Cup series will be held today on Forbush’s man made snow terrain. Racers will be starting at 1000.
