Mountain Operations Update: Our snowmaking crew has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to make snow at every given opportunity and the recent blast of lake effect snow has dumped over a foot of fresh powder at Schuss Mountain over the course of the last 48 hours.

And while Mother Nature has certainly delivered wintry conditions, simply put, it has not been enough for us to safely open the slopes of Schuss this weekend.

We understand everyone’s excitement to get back on the hill (we feel the same way!), but upholding the safety of our guests remains a top priority, so we must hold off. Disappointing as it may be, we appreciate your patience with the process and look forward to seeing you on the slopes soon!
