Crystal Mountain Snow Report – 01/30
Snow is falling this final Monday in January, with a half inch already on the ground and flurries expected throughout the day. We’ll see cold temps today with a high near 15F. Our snow guns will continue running in strategic locations to keep building our base.
UPDATE: The Crystal Clipper Quad Chairlift is currently closed due to mechanical issues. Our team is working to get the lift operating again as soon as possible. Access to the Crystal Clipper slopes, including Main Street, Basin Street and Little Vincent is available from the Ridge Triple chairlift. Shuttles are providing quick access to our backside slopes. Shuttle pick-up is located at the Crystal Center, available daily beginning at 9am.
Don’t forget – The Yurt is open daily for hot food and drinks on the slopes. It’s located between the Backyard and North Face so stop by and warm up!
RACING: High school racing will take place on Buck and Lower Gorge.
CONDITIONS: Today we’ll see scattered snow showers and lots of clouds. High near 15F. Winds WNW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 30%. Tonight will be cloudy. A few flurries or snow showers possible. Low 7F. Winds WNW at 5 to 10 mph.
TERRAIN PARKS: Updated features in Jester’s Alley: The Jr. Rainbow and the Flat Down Box. Our Little Vincent terrain park will be closed for a few days to allow our teams to make snow on the slope and re-build the park. The Pumping Service Pump Track is open on Megan’s Way.
