Hanson Hills Snow Report – 02/01

A lot of inquiries about our Downhill, Tubing and Cross Country conditions.. Here is our honest reply. It has been above freezing all week, our snow reserves are thinning, most notably on our Tubing Hill and Cross Country trail system. We have to be very resourceful in our operations, and decided to share the behind the scenes look at our awesome crew making things happen for our community and visitors alike. Just a few moments ago we snapped these photos of our “Tubing hill” as it is getting tended to by our maintenance staff to make a safe and fun experience for a small school group visiting this morning.. For those looking to tube this weekend, we say book it!! Every day above freezing brings new challenges, so if for some unfortunate reason we cannot operate on the days you book we will make sure to refund your reservation.

Xc trail report: Trailhead out to the woods is deteriorating fast with these warm temps. Wilderness is getting high reviews from skiers, the rest of the trails are showing more bare spots as the week progresses. Grooming is not an option at this point. We will not be charging for trail passes until Grooming resumes.
